Sharon is an artist, photographer, writer, teacher, wife and mother. When she was a girl she embroidered and made mud pies. In college she studied ceramics and painting. Now she makes photographs, telling the beautifully messy story of everyday lives and adventures. Her greatest creations are her five boys, two of whom are in heaven. She writes about love, loss and the struggle to create, and teaches others how to make their artistic vision a reality. Sharon lives in Southern California where artisans and makers abound. She loves telling the rich story of those who are making a living, and preserving history by creating beauty with their bare hands.
